Applications of BBa_K4138005

Since this construct of VVD and CMI was designed by our team, no information on the expression could be found in the literature, but we had a paper of VVD ^[1] where an autoinduction medium was used for the expression. For this reason, we used the same setup as in the paper. Before using the autoinduction medium we tried out the expression with different media like TB medium and LB medium with different temperatures, but the expressions were unsuccessful.

If another team wants to use VVD-CMI, the expression can be difficult. We would suggest expressing directly a 0.5 L approach to ensure that enough proteins are produced.
